Silver Laminate Bubble Covers for Models 12B, 12E and 12E4 enclose the entire bubble. The cover attaches at 4 points. The rear straps attach to the underbelly diagonal struts, while the side straps attach to the front struts. The strap attachment buckles are made of non-metal Delrin, designed for rugged outdoor use. Both the top and bottom hems of the cover have a special rope-hem feature with which they can be tightened to insure a perfect guarantee against wind-blown chaffing. A small pocket is sewn into the cover for the temperature probe, and a Velcro closure detail allows the cover to go around the cabin heater hose inlet. The bubble cover is designed to be used with or without the doors installed. For ease of installation, bubble covers are color-coded (red=left, green=right) with color swatches sewn into the corners.

The FH-1100 Silver Laminate Bubble Cover encloses the bubble canopy: windshield, skylights, doors and chin bubble. It uses strap attachments to the front and rear struts, and has an adjustable rope hem detail similar to the 12E/12E4 bubble covers. The bubble cover can be custom trimmed according to the antennae placements on the canopy top, and it is color-coded for easy installation.

Bubble Covers are made of nylon Silver Laminate. Bruce's Custom Covers developed Silver Laminate especially for aircraft protection. The outer material is a medium weight nylon treated for ultraviolet resistance and anti-static buildup. The inner lining is brushed nylon tricot knit. Silver Laminate is extremely reflective. Tests show that the cabin interior temperature can be reduced by as much as 25 degrees. It is water, ice and snow repellent, yet it is breathable enough to allow moisture to escape from between the cover and the windshield surface. Silver Laminate contains no hydrocarbon compounds which can harm plexiglass windshields and acrylic finishes.

The Engine Cover encloses the engine area from the firewall aft to the tail boom. This cover encloses the sides of the engine area, forming a "tent" structure. A collar encloses the rotor mast, closing with Velcro to the firewall edge of the cover. Straps attach to the front and rear struts, and a belly strap goes under the tail boom farther aft. The engine cover is made of heavy weight nylon, available in a variety of colors.

Soloy-Hiller Exhaust Covers are designed for the right and left exhaust stacks. Made of heavy weight heavy weight nylon, the covers are designed to fit tightly. The covers are attached to one another with a detachable strap. Red "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" streamers are sewn onto each cover.

The Rotor Hub Cover overlaps with the engine and blade covers to insure complete protection for the entire rotor system. It is made of heavy weight nylon and fastens securely with Velcro and Delrin buckles.

Blade Covers are sewn of medium weight nylon pack cloth. Cut "full" to avoid trim tab damage, blade covers can be installed from the ground with the aid of lightweight rope which is attached to the open end. Covers are cinched tight at the blade root with straps and Delrin buckles. A small opening at the tip of the cover allows for some air circulation and drainage. For operations in extremely cold weather, blade covers are available with full length zippers "boots" designed to accept a pre-heater hose.

Blade Tie-Downs are "socks" which fit over the blade tip with or without blade covers installed. The rear blade tie-down is a single length of rope which ties to the boom. The front blade tie-down is two lengths of rope attaching to the front struts on either side of the bubble.

The Tail Rotor Cover is a one-piece design which fits over the blades, hub and gearbox. It fastens with snaps along the bottom edge. Made of medium weight nylon, tabs have been sewn into the tips of the cover so that it may be tied down in high winds.
