The Citation Windshield Cover attaches with belly straps in the front and rear of the cover. The straps at the front corners attach to the nose gear post to help keep the cover from sliding sideways. The belly straps attach to a rope in the hem of the cover which tightens as the straps are adjusted. Attachment buckles are made of non-metal Delrinª, designed for rugged outdoor use. The windshield cover comes with a duffle bag. The N-number can be imprinted onto the cover for an extra charge. The windshield cover and the duffle bag are trimmed in the colors of the aircraft.

Tri-Fold Ring Intake/Exhaust Covers are designed to install easily yet be completely storable. A spring steel hoop is sewn into the hem of each cover. This allows each cover to be installed without climbing onto the wing or using a stepladder. To store the covers away the spring steel hoop folds like a band-saw blade into three nesting rings. Each cover folds into a compact circular bundle which can be easily stored in the included duffle bag, yet unfolds quickly for use. The aircraft's N-number can be silkscreened onto the cover for an extra charge. The Tri-Fold Ring cover is made of medium weight nylon which is available in a variety of colors to match the paint trim. Installation details vary for the I, II and III models, and whether or not reversers are installed. Generally the covers are attached on the inboard side by means of snaps on adjustable-length straps. Two 8-32 screws are removed and replaced with snap-head screws on the underside of the support pylon. An adjustable strap on the outboard side of the engine nacelle connects the intake and exhaust covers. Parts, installation and folding instructions are included with each cover.

"Bikini" style Engine Covers are a single-piece design using a stretchy and durable fabric. The cover stretches tightly over both the intake and exhaust, installing quickly and easily.

The Citation Pitot Cover Set is made up of two pitot covers which are attached to one another by webbing. The pitot covers are made of durable red vinyl, carefully sewn and reinforced at stress points with heavy-duty staples. They feature "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" streamers, and are permanently attached to one another with red webbing.

Non-burning Pitot Covers are designed to withstand more than 500 degrees F., preventing damage to the pitot tube if the pitot heat is turned on while it is covered.

Windshield Covers are made of nylon Silver Laminate, a two-ply laminated fabric developed by Bruce's Custom Covers especially for aircraft protection. The outer material is a medium weight nylon treated for ultraviolet resistance and water repellency. The inner lining is brushed nylon tricot knit. This material is extremely reflective. Tests show that the cabin interior temperature can be reduced by as much as 25 degrees. Silver Laminate is water, ice and snow repellent, yet it is breathable enough to allow moisture to escape from between the cover and the windshield surface. Silver Laminate contains no hydrocarbon compounds which can harm plexiglass windshields and acrylic finishes.

The Wing and Horizontal Stabilizer Covers are form-fit to slip over the wing tip and secure with straps under the wing. Reinforced holes are positioned to allow for static wicks. Wing Covers are made of medium weight nylon, and come with a storage bag.

HeatShields are interior reflectors which are intended as temporary relief against heat buildup in the cockpit or cabin interior. The do keep the interior about as cool as exterior covers, but they can take longer to install and do nothing to protect the plexiglas or to prevent damage caused by leaks. Also, in aircraft equipped with laminated windshields, they may cause damage to those windshields because of excessive heat buildup near the glass.

Our HeatShield material is a special laminate of metallized polyester film, laminated to a thin sheet of closed-cell foam. It is thinner than bubble-pack type reflectors, and has extremely good reflective and insulating qualities.

Where an exterior cover is not considered practical by the operator, a HeatShield is often the best solution for cabin protection.
